sorry about the barage of questions today I'm just getting really excited

anyway back to the question:- we will be arriving by car, can we drive around to newport bay without having to pay the parking fee?

we will be arriving early morning so i doubt our room will be ready so do we just check in and get our park tickets and come back later to get our room?

we have 2 young children so will probably get the bus to the parks, how easy is this with 2 buggies? or should we just walk it? whereabouts do the buses drop you off?

is it free to park your car in the hotel car park?

Thanks

I would take your booking confirmation and then you can show it when you enter the car park.

When you arrive you can check in, and you will be given all your park tickets, and maps. If the room is not ready you can come back letter to pick up your key.

Its free for hotel guests to park.

When I parked in the New York last year the guard on the barrier entrance to car park asked to see a booking reference / letter and they then let us in.

Walking is easy, its a very nice walk around the lake and through the village.

Bus would drop you at the train station which is close to both parks.

It's a very nice walk from the NPB to the parks, I particularly liked walking back through the village at the end of the day, you have to see the NPB and the lake at night - beautiful.
The shuttle buses can be a nightmare at the best of times, with 2 little ones and 2 buggies, I think I'd most definately walk it.

When you arrive the Car Park is at the front of the hotel, so after you check in and to get to the parks, you need to go out of the hotel on the opposite side to the way you came in (down the large staircase opposite the reception check in areas) and out of the back of the hotel around the lake.

Hope you have a super trip and that you enjoy the NPB as much as we did. :)

Sorry, just realised from your other thread that you aren't staying at the NPB, so ignore the above.

Hotel parking is only free for Disney Hotel guests, I don't know if you'd be allowed to park in them. I assume there is a Car Park for people visiting but not staying on site, but I don't know where it is - sorry.

we are staying at NPB, what gave you the impression we weren't, we are staying 11 nights at a campsite before we go to DLP for 4 nights

Oops, saw the bit about camping in one of your other threads and got confused, in which case my first post applies and ignore the second. :)
