Going from Dec 1-4 (mon to thurs).

Monday's plan is DL
Tues: DCA (but should we use MM @ DL!
Wednesday: DL
Thurs DCA/DL whatever we want

We planned to use MM on Tuesday as we think we may be too tired Thursday, but we were planning on being at DCA for rope drop for RSR. Not sure what to do

Do you have park hoppers? You could use MM and then hop to DCA, it won't make a huge difference unless you're planning to do RSR without an FP. If you're going to get FPs they'll still be available at park open, an hour after park open, even 2 hours. Everything else should be about the same as far as standby times if you get there within the first hour.

We always use our MM on the first day we can. Just for the very reason you mention.

The few times we have waited until the fourth of fifth day of the trip, we were too tired and wanted that extra 1hr sleeping.

Just make sure you do the MM equivalent of rope drop. We were slightly late for MM on a Tuesday at the beginning of October and it was nuts. 50 minute ride for PP before the park had opened for the masses!

yeah - i'd use MM on Tuesday at DL. I'd start at DL on Monday with a train ride around the park, maybe even breakfast, and a more "magical" and leisurely experience so everyone can fully soak it in. Ride Jungle Cruise and Pirates and a few favs. Then mid-morning, head over to DCA, grap RSR fast passes, and hang out there the rest of the day. Then Tuesday, use MM and get your early rides in - PP, Alice, Space, etc.

I think I will be too excited to take it slow on the first day! I do think I'll use my MM on Tuesday and start at DL then jump over to DCA. We aren't in too much of a rush since we have 4 days and I don't imagine the parks will be too crowded. Plus depending on how my baby does when we do the child swap, we may have to skip some of the big ticket rides (although I really hope not!)
