When to tell them

We're going the week of my daughter's 4th birthday (12/3-12/9) and I'm trying to put off telling her for as long as possible! I'd like to hold out until we arrive at the gate, but DH is itching to tell her right away. He doesn't have to listen to the incessant questions for the next three months! But we definitely aren't telling her about her birthday dinner with the princesses until we're ready to get in the car and go.
