Hi all!

I'm trying to fit in the Undiscovered Future World Tour into my vacation and I'm in doubt when to schedule it: On a morning with or without morning EMH.
On EMH days the park is busier and might influence the tour experience. It's for the 2nd week of September, crowd level is 2 or 3. Good thing about the day with EMH is, we could ride Test Track before the tour starts.

Afterwards we might go to AK for a few more rides/safaris (close at 5pm) or end our day in TL to relax (close at 6pm)

For those who have done this tour, according to the website it should take 4 hours. Did you finish after 4 hours exactly, or were you done earlier/later?
I'd love to hear more stories/reviews about this tour, as well! :)

TIA!

I have taken this tour twice, both times were excellent. I have never taken a bad tour at WDW, and have taken quite a few.

I personally do not think the time makes a difference. I can't recall any conflict with non tour guests on either tours. As for four hours, I don;t recall the exact times, but did seem to be right about what they said it would be as for the length of the tour.

Don't forget the discounts...AP< DVC and Disney Visa, all 15%.

My wife and I did this tour last April and loved it. For us, it ranks up there with the Backstage Safari, both of which we liked better than KTTK (but, as the PP said, we have never taken a bad tour). The tour consisted of the 2 of us, the guide, and 2 of the guides friends that were visiting. I felt like we were really backstage a lot on this tour and were hardly onstage, so the park crowd shouldn't be much influence. Come to think of it, I think the only time we were really mixed in with the crowd was when we crossed from one side of FW to the other (not counting cutting the lines for Soarin' and TT). Our tour ran about 4.5 hours, but I don't know if that is because the guide had friends and we just kind of relaxed in a couple of places for longer than the tour usually stops.

Thanks both! I love taking tours, it'll be my fifth tour, third in WDW (DLP tour, Back Stage Magic and Wild Africa Trek in WDW and Walk in Walt's Footsteps in DL). As it's September, I hope we get a small group. In DLP we had a private tour :) I'm going with a friend who has her degree in Engineering, I hope this tour will be more interesting for her with the Test Track and Illuminations part of the tour. (and for us both the Cast Services building ;-) )

I'll go for the day with EMH as this day fits our schedule better.

This tour is great. We didn't have emh when we took it but I'm guessing it doesn't matter which day you'd choose. We had a larger group of maybe 4 couples. A larger group can be nice cause more people might ask different questions. We got to ride soarin' and we got a fp for illuminations. That was pretty nice. However now I'm hearing that we should have gotten a pin and we didn't. So make sure you get one!
