When to rent points for BCV

Hi,

We are new to renting points. We are looking at buying a DVC resale and BCV is the one that, in theory, we would like the most. So, we would like to stay there first.

The question is we are 90% sure we are going to go May9th to May 16th 2009-when should we start looking to get reservations for a two bedroom? It should run 314 points. It is already past the 11 month window, but before the 7 month window. We always go in May and it is not swamped, but it makes me wonder if I can wait till Nov or Dec to get serious about renting or because we are so specific in what we want I need to get doing it now.

BCV is a small resort, and many owners reserve at the 11 month mark. You should be looking for an owner now. Once it gets into the 7 month window, all DVC members can book at BCV, and availability will get limited quickly.
