Quick opinion question. During my trip I have tickets to see La Nouba's early showing (I believe it's 6:00pm). That day I am also planning to attend Animal Kingdom. When should I plan to leave the park if I wish to make it back to the Swan, and then to Downtown Disney for the Show??

Is 2:00 a good estimate? Earlier or later?

Depends on how long you want to be at your resort.

Better to be too early than to be too late.

I agree with "it depends" - are you planning to shower, relax, hit the pool? Any of those will effect that. Are you trying to eat before the show?

Depends on the crowds, how you manage to hit the buses, etc;
Basically figure about 30 minutes from AK back to Swan (including time to wait for the bus) then 30 minutes to get to Disney Springs - That's an hour right there. LaNouba STARTS at 6 but you should really show up there about 30 minutes early and possibly earlier so plan on getting to Disney Springs at 5. Walk time from the bus stop to your room is about 10 minutes each way and round up for some fudge factor and you're looking at:
Leave AK at 2 - get to swan room around 3 - leave Swan at 4 to get to Disney Springs at 5.

Basically you've got about an hour turn around time.

(also realize the bus stop at DS is on the opposite side of La Nouba)

Thanks! I don't necessarily need a lot of down time back at the resort. Basically enough time to shower and change. Maybe throw a light bite of food in my stomach back at the room.

Oh - I should point out -
I've not been to LaNouba but I have been to some other Cirque shows in Vegas and they've got clowns and such that will come out and make fun of people coming in at the last minute before the show!

We went to the 6pm La Nouba too. We were in MK that day, got there just after RD and left around noon or a little after, I think. We got back to our resort (CSR), had time to go to the pool for a little while, got dressed and went to wait for the DS bus. We got to DS in time to get the boat from Marketplace to the West Side. We ate at The Express at Wolfgang Puck, looked around at some of the shops on that side, and were in our seats waiting for the show a good 20-30 minutes before it started.

It's been a long time since we did the 6pm La Nouba show but leaving around 2pm sounds good. We went back to rest a bit and shower, also had a snack. My suggestions if things are running tight, take a cab! We frequently cab to DTD or other resorts to save the bus time. La Nouba is great have fun!

I wasn't aware there was a boat that went from one side to the other - is that still running?

It was at Easter! There is a dock at the Marketplace side (where the buses drop you) and one at the West Side where La Nouba's theater is. The resort ferries from Port Orleans and SSR go to them, but there is also a shuttle ferry that just goes back and forth between the two sides. It was a nice little ride, didn't take long at all, and was easier on my folks than walking that distance.

Been to La Nouba a number of times 1 thing to remember is that the gates to La Nouba open up at 5:30 pm. And the preshow starts anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes before the regular show does and it's great. Are you taking the bus or have a car? That will make a big difference. Consider the driving time to get from AK to your resort If you are driving you need to find a spot in the parking garage then get to the theater. If by bus how long a wait at AK? How long does it take the bus to get to your resort?
To give you an example last Dec we went to the 6pm La Nouba. We left MK gates at app 2pm and went back to our resort (SSR) cleaned up, ate something and leisurely made it to the gates by 5:30. Didn't rush.
