O.K., here is the deal. We have 6 one day hoppers left over from our Thanksgiving trip. Me and DH are planning to go to Miami next fall to see a game ( GO DOLPHINS!!!!). Any way, we are going to stop either on the way to, or way home, at WDW! We have been 3 times with kids, but never alone. My ? is, when should we go? Of coarse, our timing will be dictated somewhat by the Dolphins schedule, but I figure they will have at least one home game each month (Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec). Probably more! So when should we go? We are looking for low crowds, and hopefully not TOO hot. My DH had a heat stroke a few years ago, and now gets sick easily in the heat. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!!!!! Almost forgot! Congrats to Tampa Bay Buc's! They were awesome in the superbowl tonight!!!:bounce:

I've heard that Sept and Oct can still be pretty warm at times. We were just there in Nov and had great weather, low crowds.

In Oct you could enjoy the Halloween festivities...December, Christmas.

scanmom,

I've always been fond of October, but this year we went in late September and simply had a blast. From a "childless" perspective, September is a winner, for low costs, low crowds, etc. There's threat of rain almost every hour of every day, but it just never seemed to get in our way.

However, September can still be hot. I think we were in the high 80's to low 90's each day. You will find it cooler in late October (early October is obviously similar to late September). I thougth it got TOO cold in late October (into the 50's at night), but that was 2001 and the locals made it sound like that was unusual. Warning: Avoid the PGA golf tourney. It doesn't affect the parks so much, but it sure affects everything else. It's usually early October. Other benifits of late in October are the begining of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, which is pretty neat, and the Halloween theme.

Can't loose with either month, in my opinion.

I vote for November. If you go early enough in the month you can hit the Food and Wine Festival. This past Nov. the crowds were very light. In fact, when my niece looked at my pictures she questioned how I managed to get so many pictures without people in them. The weather was beautiful during the day and cool enough at night that I needed a sweat shirt.

...go in December. Especially the first week or two. The crowds will be very low, the weather will be nice, the holiday decorations will be up, and you will LOVE IT.

Do not go Christmas week. Very VERY busy.

We went the second week in December a couple years ago, and more or less WALKED RIGHT ON to many of the rides.

I think I am leaning towards the end of Oct. Are there many conventions then? I have heard that oct. is convention month at WDW!! Also, when is the famous "Jersey week"? I might go early Nov. if we can miss that. My birthday is Nov. 1st, so it would be great to be there at that time! TIA!!!

Either the 3rd week of October or the 1st week of November.

I agree... the Bucs ROCKED!!!
