When to check for renting points

My family is planning a Nov 2009 trip. We are wanting to stay at Beach Club 2 bedroom villa. When should I post a request to rent points? Has anyone rented for a 2 bedroom at the Beach Club? Tell me all of the details. The trip is for my son's 13th birthday. Only 446 days to go!!!

You may post your request as soon as you know the dates, resort and room type you will want. You should be aware that only members who own the specific resort you are looking for will be able to make the reservation for you at 11 months - all others must wait until 7 months before the arrival date.

Many have also found that not all members know over a year in advance whether they will have points available for rentals and those who are willing/able to make a rental reservation 11 months in advance may demand a higher price per point since they are tying up their points.
