When to book

Hello!
We are going late August 2018 and thanks to some incredible assistance on the Universal forums I am looking at staying at club level at Royal Pacific for my family of 5.
My question is when would you consider booking? I have signed up to receive emails just in case any deals come out.
Is there usually a deal that comes out at some point? I am not worried if there is not one but thought I would ask here for any suggestions.

Book as soon as you can.

Keep checking, if the rate come down, call them and have the reduced rate applied to your reservation.

I'll add to what schumi said and say book when you find the price for the hotel, that you can live with

Don't count on an ap or special discount when you book

If a discounted deal comes out after you book and pay the deposit, call and modify your room rate

I booked our room back in February for our December stay and kept an eye on rates. The price I paid ended up being the best, I saw prices go up and up again and finally there was no availability which surprised me since we are going early Dec. So yes, book as early as you can.
