When to book?

We will be flying down to DW next year. Probably May. I looked up tickets just out of curiousity and I can get them for 187. The next best price is 234This really needs to be a budget trip as we are going to Hawaii later in the year too.

The last couple times we have gone we have paid 200 or so pp, so the 187 looks great. Do you think I should book now, or do you think I should be able to get a better rate on SW or some other airlline?

It depends an awful lot on where your flight originates. Some markets you might get best prices as soon as the flights are released for booking, other markets benefit from a lot of competition and prices drop at about the 3 month window before your trip.

farecompare.com has historical flight prices from most major airports; you might find some info there to help.

I personally would take it since you have always paid a bit more, but perhaps you could check out the site that the previous poster recommended. You will be paying less than $100 each way. That sounds good to me!
