When to Book December Reservations

Though I've been reading the posts on this site since deciding last month on our December 6-12 vacation, this is my first post. Based on the recommendations posted I've already purchased tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party December 8th. I'm wondering if you have suggestions as to when I should book hotel reservations. Our only previous on-site was camping at Fort Wilderness which we loved. Since this is a shorter trip we're flying and looking at the moderates. We're leaning toward Port Orleans Riverside, but would be open to others. Would we get a better price now, or should I wait and hope that some additional discounts might be offered in the Fall? I appreciate any suggestions you have!

I personaly usually book mine 6 months in advance. I like to have everything in place and know i'm gonna get what i am looking for. I go in october, granted it's not the craziest time but i like to make sure everything is allset. It could be different for the time that u are planning on goin. Have fun and safe traveling.

I would say book as soon as you can. This way you know that you'll get the resort you want especially since you are planning it around MVMCP.

If it were me and I knew we were going for sure, I'd book something I could live with right now. Early December weekends are becoming more popular and you may not be able to get your first choice if you wait. I'd continue to keep an eye out for any discounts, though. When/If they come out, you can call and make changes.
