When to avoid going, Nov/Dec?

Would like to plan a trip just DH and me for our anniversary next year. Besides Thanksgiving week, is there a week to particularly avoid in Nov or early Dec?

The first couple of weekends in November seem to be more crowded than other times, but no on par with Thanksgiving. Usually the first week is "Jersey Week" when alot of people from NJ come down because they have a couple of teacher institute days, and kids aren't missing that much of school. The second weekend is usually reserved for Super Soap weekend.

Otherwise you're probably fairly safe crowd-wise until you hit Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The second week in December is the Pop Warner Superbowl - lots of football players and cheerleaders. I don't think it affects the parks too much, but there sure is alot of these kids hanging around at the All Star Resorts and either POR or CBR. If you were planning to stay at any of these resorts, it would be something to keep in mind, especially if it just the two of you!
