When to activate memory maker

I bought the advance purchase of Memory Maker the other day and we leave on Tuesday to head to WDW. When i go to photopass on the MDE app it gives me a little button to push that says Yes, Activate. When should I push that? We will be there next tuesday to the following Tuesday and I want to make sure all pictures are included and I don't run out of time. HELP! Please!

Don't activate it until you are ready to start downloading the pictures. As long as you bought it at least 3 days prior to your trip, your pictures will all be eligible. When you click the button you will then be able to download any pictures that are active in your account for 30 days. If you wait and do most of your edits (just watch the notice on the picture that tells you when it expires) and then activate it you will be fine.

ok cool so i don't need to do anything else then? Will the pictures show up on my photopass on the website once we start taking them?

how long will the pictures stay there before they disappear? do they last longer if you have memory maker?

As far as I know, it doesn't matter if you have memory maker or not, the pictures will disappear from the PhotoPass site 45 days after they're taken.
