When should I pick up my Fast Pass from Will Call?

We have reservations at Crystal Palace for 8:05. MK doesn't open till 9am

Do you think we will be able to get our fast passes BEFORE Crystal Palace, or will we have to eat, and the go back out of the park to get our fast pass? That seems like it would be quite the chore especially with two little ones- since we would be trying to get out as the crowd is trying to get in.

Would it be better if we try to get our fast pass the day we arrive? Our flight lands at 11am and we are taking the ME to POR and hoping to get to MK by 2pm- I know there is a chance that the fast passes will be gone already but- is it worth it to at least try to get the pass for that day instead?

Thanks

A few people have posted that they had early ADRs and redeemed their vouchers in plenty of time for their ADRs. They reported that Will Call opened at 7:30 to accommodate people who were being let in early. You should be fine. Some people will be redeeming vouchers for tickets, so Disney needs to be able to give them their tickets before the first guests are allowed in.

You can try to redeem them the first day if that works better for your schedule. Disney has said that FP cards may not be available after 11 am, but no one has yet reported that they were denied. Pick the date that makes the most sense for you. If they are not available when you arrive in the afternoon, redeem them on your Crystal Palace day.

We will be redeeming ours in July before our 8:05 Crystal Palace ADR.

You cannot redeem your vouchers on any day but the day you will be in the park. But, the will call window should be open for you when you get there, so you can get them before going to breakfast.

Thats great news! We were worried that we would have to dine at CP then run back outside the park to get our fast passes!

Thanks for the info

It appears from the OP's post that they will be going to MK twice - the day they arrive (in the afternoon) and the day they enter early to eat at Crystal Palace.

The will call window/guest relations should be manned at least 30 minutes before ANY guests are allowed into the park, including for ADRs and tours.

Note that if you decided to get the GAD FP on the day you arrive, you can only use it THAT DAY. You can't save it for later in the week.

Yep! got that part :)

Thank you again- you are all really helpful and it makes planning our first family trip to Disney much easier to manage

We are using our 2 GAD fastpasses the following ways:

1)First pass used at MK- will pick up BEFORE our 8:05am ressies at CP

2)Second Pass (from DH) used at DHS- on Sund May 23 SWW

Sounds like a great plan. Enjoy your trip!

I was asked to provide the day that I will be using the GAD vouchers. What if I change my mind and want to use it a different day? I can't imagine they would have an issue with this, but you never know. Anyone else as indecisive and I am?

It doesn't matter. You are not restricted by the date...I think it is more for planning and prediction purposes of Disney more than anything.

You don't even need to enter a date.

thank you for asking this question!! I was just thinking about this very thing this morning, and was coming here to ask myself!
