Because i'm changing my job a little, I won't be able to go on my august vacation:(
If anyone has suggestions on when would be a great time to go later in the year but not next year please let me know!
thanks so muchprincess:

I would choose October. It is a great month to go to WDW. In fact, we almost always go during this month. We really love MNSSHP, and typically go 2 times during our 3 week stays. Even my husband likes the party, and he doesn't really like going WDW.

This year we are trying the dreaded week after X-mas and first part of Jan. Should be a huge difference than what we are used to. At least for the week after X-mas, but I am sure it will settle down during our January time. Thankfully we can take extended vacations and have been there many times, so we don't have to do everything in that one crazy week :)

After thinking about how much fun last October was, I went ahead and booked for this October! The worst thing I can do is cancel the reservation!

Looks like you are already booked for this coming October. I think you will find BCV/Epcot somewhat crowded due to the Wine & Food Festival. Other than that, it's probably as good a time to go to WDW to avoid crowds as any other time.

If crowd avoidance is your main goal, then September would be even better I would think.

As you can tell, October is a very popular month for DVCers to hit the parks. If you can get out of town during Oct I highly recommend it and make sure you hit Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween...

Most DVC members are very savvy travelers to WDW, it does not surprise me most would tell you to go in October. Christmas, President's week and Easter are not the best times to go to WDW.

From your list I selected October as that is going to be the lowest attendance of that group. I assumed by Christmas vacation you intended to go the week between Christmas and New Year, which is a nightmare on main street crowd period. If you meant early December, that would be less crowded than October.

Christmas is a wonderful time to visit Disney, regardless of the crowds. You just have to learn how to work your park visits to avoid the most crowded times.

You must attend a Halloween party!!! We went in 2003 and it was the best time. We went to the MK during the day, then went to our resort to rest/eat/get costumed up and the transformation of the park while we were gone was unreal! We went from Thursday to Sunday and we could walk on about any ride we wanted (except that stink'in Indy Speedway - that will be a 1 hour wait forever)
