When should I get PIN to be able to access DVC website?

We just made our decision and gave deposit last week, got the paperwork on Thursday and sent it back Monday (yesterday). We purchased through Disney. When should we get a PIN to access the DVC website? Also, if we are supposed to close in March, with first payment April 15, will monthly dues payments start then also? I've read in other posts that dues are prorated according to purchase date. Is that the day I sign the contract, or the day I close or what?

It sounds like we purchase around the same time. I called member services early last week and they gave me my PIN over the phone.

Same here. MS gave me a number and PIN number. There's not much to see yet though as it must take a bit for the contracts to show up online.

Okay, maybe a dumb question but is MS different from our guide? If so, what do we use the guide for?
