When should I call to confirm?

When is the best time to call and confirm our reservation? Should I call the resort directly or CRO? I was thinking a week ahead was okay but I read somewhere that they will not have my reservation in the Resort computer till 4 days ahead.

You do not need to call and confirm your reservation. Do you mean that you want send in your request for a specific area of the resort?
According to Deb Will site the best thing to do is note your request when you make your reservation. If you want to confirm your request, then you can fax the request 4 days prior to your arrival date. Apparently though you can no longer do this at the Wilderness Lodge.
