When should i buy our airfare to disney

We are leaving may 3rd and going to fly southwest ! We can book by November when should we buy the tickets for the best price?? How can I insure we all will sit together since it's me and our 8 year old daughter and hubby flying? I am seeing that the prices may be about 105.00 -140.00 each way??

If you see a price that low I would book it ASAP. As far as sitting together you will have to either pay for early bird status or check in right at 24 hrs prior to your flight to try and get A status boarding. If you don't you will be allowed to board right before B status of you let the gate attendants know you are a family with young children.

Have you flown southwest before? Are you familiar with the boarding procedures?

I think the Southwest family policy only pre-boards families with children 4 and under. Your sure bet is to pay the extra $12.50 (I think) each for the first spots. Otherwise, if you check in right at the 24 hour mark, you should get a good enough spot to be together. Anything A to half way+ in the B's can keep 3 together if you're willing to move toward the back of the plane.

I am flying SW myself and found flights in general to be much more expensive than prior years, same on other airlines as well though. If you book now and the price goes down, SW MAY give you a credit for the difference if you call, but it does have restrictions, like has to be used for same person, I believe, and also within a certain time frame.
