When paying for your checked luggage...(quick question)

can you use a debit/credit bank card? or does it have to be a regular credit card? I always used my debit card as a credit card in those cases, but my dad is making me paranoid that I have to use a credit card!

Either a debit or credit card works. Perhaps Dad is concerned about a credit card being less vulnerable to fraud?

I usually use our credit card because it also carries travel insurance.

i go to the airline website and pay for my luggage before i leave for the airport.

it saves me $5 by paying in advance.
