When making reservations, is there anyway to avoid getting the WDW Travel Company and a CM instead? I would like to avoid the 45 day requirement for payment in full if possible. Just in case we had to cancel for some reason, I would prefer the 5 days in advance.

Thank you in advance for your help. :sunny:

Use the 407 W DISNEY number. I've always been quoted the 5 day cancellation policy. I believe the 800 number is the WDW Travel Co.

If your confirmation doesn't reflect the 5 day cancellation after that, then call and have them change it.

Usually the 5 day cxl is for room only reservations. Are you booking a package? If so those have a different cancellation policy.

We have always called the 407 wdisney or the 800 and booked room only with the 5 day cxl policy.

As Grumpy says, it's 5 day XCL policy for Room only, Package deals (with Tickets and/or dining) have the 45 day policy.
