Just stopping by, looking for some encouragement . The washer died last week, haven't been able to find a new (by new I mean used cause it's cheaper) one. Then on Sunday, DH fell. He was putting Christmas decor into the garage attic (we just bought a house) and his knee gave out, and he crashed through the ceiling.... Fell 22 feet and hit concrete. Had to call 911, thought we were going to lose him. Praise the Lord, he has a shattered elbow and bulging discs only, as well as so many bruises and cuts I cannot count them (after being unconscious and then a severe concussion, we are so thankful... and at first when he woke up could feel his legs). Any good vibes/prayers y'all can send our way are appreciated. Thanks, DISer's.

Wow, that is rough! The important thing is that your DH is going to be ok, how scary!! Hang in there, I hope things start looking up for you. If you can be patient, usually whatever I'm looking for eventually shows up on CL.

Hugs! I'm glad your DH is going to be OK. When he's feeling better, have his knees checked out. I broke my elbow in a 5 foot fall (a terribly painful injury, btw; far worse than giving birth) and it was due to my knee giving out. Needed a new ACL put in that. And tons of physical therapy. Wishing him a good recovery!

Everyone, thank you so much for the hugs, prayers and good vibes. DH is doing much better, just trying to accomplish school work online one handed. Thank you, thank you! One of the positives to this is that we won't be taking our beach trip this summer.... More to put in the Disney fund jar !
