Honestly? ANYTIME...no really it is the Holiday season along with alot of you other DISers...There is nothing like the atmosphere at DL with the holiday spirit in the air. They make the most amazing hot chocolate and sugar cookies in the Reindeer Round up area. We make it a point to purchase either a large gingerbread boy or sugar cookie tree they are around $5 and come with assorted fostings and toppings. The kid just love to decorate with Mrs Claus and listen the the christmas music. Yummy!
It really is extra, extra special at DLR during the holidays, isn't it? Every square inch of the entire DLR is pretty much immersed in holiday splendor, from the music to the treats and goodies to the decorations and lights, and smells of peppermint and cinnamon and gingerbread. Even the holiday music differs from land to land - another fine example of the Disney attention to detail. You could be in Frontierland and hear a sort of Country Western version of a classic holiday song, maybe done on a banjo or something, and then you move in to Adventureland and hear another holiday tune tapped out on the steel drums, Calyspo-style, and then you walk through New Orleans Square to hear a jazz rendition of a holiday favorite, and then you venture over in to DCA and hear Christmas tunes done by the Beach Boys or something. It is really just absolutely wonderful. If anyone has never been to DLR at all and they only have one chance to go, I would say go during the holidays. It is bursting with magic!
