When is the Superbowl???? Is it Jan. 25th this year??

It seems that the 25th and 26th are booked when I inquire about that week. I know the game is in Tampa....could this be why??? Not sure if it is that weekend or the next one though. Maybe Jan. is a busy time for DVC because it is the cheapest points season??

Well maybe the lower points in Jan. have a lot to do with it too. I hope our friends get their trip booked. They are DVC members but they rented points for the week of Thanksgiving and their daughter was put in the hospital for 16 nights and they couldn't go. Well the points they rented went into holding and the owner of the points has til March 1st to use the points. SO.....they want to go the end of Jan. when the kids have off some days. Now it looks so iffy with things being booked that week. I hope they are able to work it out somehow maybe doing split stays and not lose that money from renting. What a mess this has been for them.

There are usually alot of confrences in and around the Orlando area from the middle of January to the middle of February. My wife has one from Jan 29-Feb1. I dont think it has much to do with the Super Bowl. But it is, like others have said, Feb 1 in Tampa.

Very true, My brother in-law has one Jan 12th-17th and I booked them a 2br for that week. So that probably has alot to do with it.

I called November 8th to reserve 3 nights 1/26 to 1/29 and all DVC resorts had no availability for studios. I waitlisted the three nights at OKW and the waitlist did come through today.
