When is the last day to add dining plan (DVC stay)

Wondering when is the last day I can add a plan to a DVC reservation? Thanks in advance!!

Pretty sure it's either 48 or 72 hours prior to check-in.

I was just told 48 hours by member services.

It's not actually 48 hours though. We checked in on a Saturday and I added it at 530pm on the Thursday before. Not that you want to cut it that close but just FYI

I think it's before Member Services closes on the night before check in. Pretty sure I booked that late for one of our rooms last May. While I could be wrong, if I try to book a regular package online for check in tomorrow, it allows me to add dining. Although that's not DVC, I haven't found their booking rules to be more restrictive than regular bookings. You can call and ask.

I tried to add a dining plan the day before in December for a DVC stay and was told it couldn't be done as it was too late.

The official rule is 48 hours in advance for DVC and 72 hours for Disney reservations.

Unofficially, I've watched someone add the dining plan at the front desk.
