My schedule is very open and I am at the beginning stages of planning my first visit.

I would like this trip to be similar to what I do in Tokyo.

Which is 3-5 Days in the city/ probably Paris and then 3-4 days at Disneyland Paris.

The most important thing is for the the top attractions to be open during my visit. Second most important is to have lighter crowds.
I plan to stay at the Disneyland Paris Hotel

Please let me know what would be best for me. Thank you for your help.

Of course it's all personal preference but I tend to prefer the last week of November. School is in session so crowds aren't too bad and the Christmas decorations are up so it looks lovely.

It will be cold though.

I would avoid January - March as that's when most closures happen.

The first thing I do is google school holiday dates for France, the UK, Spain and Belgium and public holiday dates for France. As long you avoid these the parks should be pretty quiet. Other than that it just depends what your priorities are. Do you have particular season you'd like to see? Would you prefer longer park hours? I think early October has to be my favourite so far. The weather was reasonable, the parks are open late, but not so late you have to stay up to 11pm to watch Dreams, and it's Halloween season which is fab. I'm less keen on the Christmas season as I don't like the shorter park hours and dark morning as much.

As far as attractions closures are concerned, that can be harder to predict more than around 3 months in advance, although we do know that Space Mountain will be shut for the first six months of this year. As the previous poster said, there are more closures Jan-Mar but there are still a few rides closed each month. You can find the schedules on www.dlpguide.com.

I like June - it is still quiet (I think most schools in Europe are off later rather than earlier check school holidays) - and not too cold. Plus the days are longer.

I've been in November - it was rainy and cold (but Christmassy) and in February which was actually warmer than November - lol - and March - still cold but not too bad.
