Title pretty much says it all. DD would love to see Remy, but I'm not sure if I should book an ADR there based on seeing him if it's not a guarantee. We would be there for lunch on a Friday. Le Cellier also has availability, so we're are trying to decide between the 2. TIA!

According to wdwent.com (formerly Steve Soares), Remy appears Monday-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm.

We has lunch at Chefs last summer for the express purpose of seeing Remy. We made a noon ADR, figuring we'd be in the middle of our meal when he rolled around, but actually he didn't make it to our table until we were almost done with dessert. I think he came out a little late, and it took a while for him to make it to our table. He makes one loop around the restaurant and visits all occupied tables. He's a lot of fun, very lifelike and animated, and the CM who brings him around is wonderful as well.

Remy is there Monday through Saturday. He starts his rounds at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 and 5:20.

There's absolutely no guarantee that you will see Remy. Unlike the characters at the other restaurants who are either face characters or people sized costumed characters, Remy is a 6" tall highly sophisticated audio- animatronic figure that can break down unexpectedly. He has even been known to have to leave midway during one of his rounds.

We've planned 5 or 6 lunches and dinners in time to see Remy and so far (knock on wood) he's always appeared.

REMY Info:

1) Inside Les Chefs de France.
2) Monday-thru-Saturday at 12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20pm
3) Visiting
. . . he usually comes out right on schedule
. . . the cart makes one trip around the eatery
. . . you must wait until he comes to your table *
. . . you cannot get up and go over to him, handlers make sure of this
. . . if you miss him, he does not make a second trip
. . . you must wait for the next scheduled time
. . . if your ADR is near a scheduled time, be early
. . . you may not be seated on time, and will miss him
. . . you might be in line waiting for a table when he appears
. . . if so, you wait for the next scheduled trip

* If people gathered around the cart, it would clog the aisles. Also,
guests might be pressing their shorts and clothes against other guest's
tabletop and food (eewe, yuck, gross). Also, he is a temperamental little
critter, and occasionally does not appear at all, and with NO PRIOR NOTICE,
so use caution when promising him to little ones to avoid disappointment
