When is it safe to go and see ALL Christmas Decorations?

We would like to go next fall, sometime after Thanksgiving, just to see the decorations. When will we be sure all decs are up? Anytime after Thanksgiving or should we give them a week. We wouldn't leave until after Thanksgiving weekend anyway.
