When is better to be at WDW?

Hi,

I would like to know when is better to be at WDW.

I've been thinking about going to Disney on March 16 to March 29 or on April 1 to April 12. Does anybody know when is more crowded, because Easter is on April 16 (sunday) or it doesn't make diference? My daughter's birthday is on April 10 and i thought be at Magic Kingdom on this date, but someone told me that is very crowded on this week? Can you help me to make my decision?

These are both crowded times of year to go, but not as bad as Easter. As long as you can avoid Easter week and President's Day week (in February), you'll see moderate crowds. I don't think one week is more crowded than the other week.

So, do you think it doesn't make diference between "March 16 to March 29" and "April 1 to April 12", because I think Easter week start on April 9 (monday) is it correct?

We went in 2003 during the last few days of March and the first few days of April. Easter was later in April that year so I thought it would not be very crowded. BOY WAS I WRONG!! Evidently there are many schools that have a spring break and dont take it at Easter week. Colleges also have breaks at different times during the spring. It was much hotter than I anticipated and MUCH MORE CROWDED than I could have ever imagined. I definately wouldnt go during the Easter week and I would be prepared for crowds during either of those dates although more during the Easter week. Good luck in your planning.

I went this past march (but in the beginning) and didn't have much troubles. Moderate crowds but nothing like christmas or easter.

The only 'fight' my wife and I ever had at WDW was during Easter week. The park was just sooooooo crowded, and it was really warm that day, and we just started snapping at each other.

Their was a sliver lining, though. We left the park out of frustration, and decided to go see the Contemporary Resort. We spent a good part of the afternoon having the time of our lives zipping around the lake on the little Sea Racer boats. I highly reccomend this as a break from the crowds.

When you go and the crowds are lower you can enjoy it more.

I'm from the Great White North up here in Canada, and just thought you'd like to know that March 11-19th is Spring Break here. You may be swamped with lots of people due to this fact.Just thought you should know.
