I posted this question at one point, but not very many people answered it. I thought I would be avoiding crowds from the celebration kick off, but in reality I think the second week is busier. Hotels are much more booked up the 2nd week. Guess others had the same idea...

I don't think the celebration kickoff is going to be too crazy like some people thought.

We'll be at BWV's from May 1st-7th. I like the look of the results so far!! This will be our first May trip!! Trying to keep an open mind just in case crowds are bad...

I know three, YES THREE, families in my hometown that are going to WDW during the second week on May. Two are staying at off-side condos and one is renting a house.

I didn't vote for them. Just to give you info on the crowds.

I personally think it's going to be crowded.

My husband, and I along with our two children 8 and 6 will be going to Disneyworld for the first time on May 20th to the 4th June. We will be staying at the Bahama Bay Resort in Davenport. We are really looking forward to our trip from Scotland and have been spending quite a lot of time swatting up on all the info from this great sight. Andrew, my husband wants to know if he can wear his kilt native on the rides!!!
