I would have hit the wall and blew up too. I take and take and let it slide, but when I reach my limit and blow it's not pretty. My kids also tell me I'm good at the "guilt thing".

I'm glad you had your peace and Chris said he was sorry. I hope the night got better. I'm thinking you went for a Dis meet and had a toddy.

I totally understand the snit.
Tyler can really get on my last nerve when he's tired or hungry. He can sound like the biggest brat in the world and it makes it sound as though he's the most ungrateful person I know.

I'm pretty sure I would have done the same thing you did and then left his butt standing there, Tyler and I are too much alike so he doesn't back down at first, so walking away is always best so the snit doesn't escalate.
Later he's always sorry and things go back to normal and usually better from that point on. Pretty sad that's what it takes to clear the air, but we're human and those things happen.

Being that I have two surly teens I am not at all surprised at the boy's reaction. They really know how to be a downer sometimes, don't they?

I don't blame you for having a bit of a snit. I would be upset too. It's only natural. Hope your DISmeet put you in a better mood. Love the AK villa.

You need to watch that old Disney planning DVD that has Dave on it. He was the master of all things leisure.

I am betting this trip I actually slow down. The heat should do it for sure.

He knows he really pushed the wrong button. He said he was sorry a few times until I finally convinced him I was no longer mad just diappointed and not feeling all that great.

Sometimes I am not sure what his expectations were. I don't know what the deal really was but that night was just not going right.

Hey Pat- been crazy busy trying to catch up after this weekend and we are getting ready for the beach the week of the 4th. I think that they packed less for the d-day invasion than we pack to go to the beach for a week .

So funny that you are talking about Chris here- I asked him last night at the pool if he was going with
you on your trip. I don't think he remembered meeting us -took him a little by surprise . Nadja just said, no he couldn't go because he
had to work. He didn't argue .

I love the pics of AKL-it is so well themed and the details are great. That is the first Disney resort that Chloe stayed at .

I hear ya. Field trip taking me out of my office tomorrow and then working all weeeknd at another facility.
Then I still need time to try and pack for essentially a beach trip and a Disney Trip. Got to figure out what to pack where so I can just grab what I need quickly.

Yeah- I think after our last episode he probably won't want to return for a while. He needs to miss it a bit. He is at that age where US and IoA may be a better choice for him.

AKL is so pretty and relaxing. Had to learn the lay of the land though. More on that coming up next.

Chris was on my last nerve that night. In addition to not feeling well and being worn out, Chris pushed a button of mine and I unleashed the Mom fury on him.
If he would have said " That's it?" and left it that I would have been hurt but I would have left it alone.

The additional chatter from him was the last straw. I don't think Mark would ever pull that...

AKl was indeed beautiful. So wish I had more time there.

But I will be at the Beach Club in a week.

It is so horrible when life gets in the way.

Made it through the work week just barely and officially on vacation.

Left after work today to start early and spend some time with friends

Check in at Disney on Sunday. Will have to finish the last full day when I get back.

Already have adventures and disasters. Wish me luck on the drive
