When in August?

Which 6 days in second half of August? Looking for 5 days in park and one day off in middle. We have never gone in August so not sure when would be best to go.

Aug 17-20 (Thu-Sun): 2017 P&G Gymnastics Championships (Honda Center)
Aug 20 (Sun): Last Day of SoCal and SoCal Select AP Summer Blockout
Aug 31 (Thu): Disneyland Half Marathon

I'd go before the 21st. I'd also check the local (LA & Orange Counties) school districts' calendars to see when school starts up again as they haven't been added to the thread. If possible I'd schedule for after school has started but before the blockout ends.

From what I understand. Aug 21st has open Local passes and school has not started. Locals hit the parks for one last time before school starts.

Keep in mind that HM should be going down sometime in the third week of August to put up the HMH overlay. If you want to ride HM, try to visit before the 20th, just to be safe.

Looking back historically. ..would it like be Monday the 21 do you think?

If you check the Halloween Time super thread (the first page or two should give you the info you want), you'll see the dates that HT started over the past few years. Work back about 2-3 weeks to get the approximate date that HM started the overlay. This year, since the HT start date hasn't been announced yet, you could be working back from 9/8 or 9/15.
