When I first go through the gates at Disneyland, I......

Right when I enter the park it feels as if a huge burden of stress has been lifted off of my shoulders. I have a smile on my face knowing that I truly am in the "Happiest Place on Earth." Most of the time I will walk through Main St. and look in the shops (it's so quiet when the parks just open) and then I'll start taking pics around the park when there is very few people. After capturing some awesome scenery, etc. I head over to Mark Twain and eat some scrumptious pancakes. Mmmmm!! :goodvibes

Before we go through the gates, when we wait in line my family plays a game with our APs; one of us holds all four APs and one of us guesses which card is theirs. We started this when DS11 got his very first AP and he wanted to carry his into the park, instead of mom or dad carrying it. We made him guess which one was his and we've continued doing this with DS5. We play this game every time we go into the park.

Well, I was only there once, but I was so excited! I couldn't wait to head up Main Street to see the castle. Though for me, it's not quite the same feeling as seeing Cinderella Castle at WDW.

We (daughter Emily, now 17 and myself) first went in 2002 and didn't think we would ever travel all that way again, but last year we were there for 4 weeks and as soon as we got to Main Street, we were just grabbing each others arm and jumping about saying "we're here, we're here!!" (we did the same thing in Vegas as well).
I am just hoping that we will be doing the same thing next year as well.
Love Ella
