When I call on Oct 8 what do I say?

I (like many) will be hitting the phone on Oct 8 to get the S/P/D. I currently have a package at POR...what is the best way (or best language) to ask the person on the phone to get the new promotion?

I would expect that you'll hear something soon about a new package being released and the dates that you can start booking. We had a similar situation in August and knew a day or two ahead that August 1st was our day to call in.
When I called I just spoke to a CM and told her I already had a reservation but I'd like to see about adding the promo to my current ressie or upgrading to a different resort to get the discount.

Just be patient if you don't get through on the first (or 50th) try. Their phone lines blow up that day and CM's are really busy. Try to be courteous and just ask about the new special and see if it's able to be applied to your current ressie. You may have to switch resorts or adjust your dates b/c the availability is usually limited and they only block off a certain number of rooms for each promo. Even if you're already booked it doesn't guarantee that you can apply the discounts. In our case, our resort (POFQ) was not eligible for a discount so we upgraded to WL to get a discount on our stay.
