When/How to book for Jan?

Okay I'm sorry if this sounds dumb, but I don't want to make any mistakes.

My family and I are planning a Jan 2011 trip, and we are super excited by the new discounts! (We will be using FD!). We plan to stay at ASSp, but we will be upgrading to the DDP.

So... (and sorry for the 20 questions!) how do I do this? LOL! Is it best to go online, or do I have to phone in... Also is there a special PIN for the FD or is it just an automatic thing?

I presume I have to have a CC, will they charge me now or is it just a holding?

And (last question) is it worth it to book now? Will it make a huge difference if I book it in 1-2 months?

I would go ahead and book now. They only have so many rooms available per discount.
Yes they charge you a $200 deposit, they count that as $200 towards your total bill.

Don't know if you can do it by check, we have a CC.

Another reason I wouldn't wait, is if you are using the FD discount, restaurants will fill up. So you need to make reservations at the ones you want to eat at ASAP.

With an upgrade like that I'd do it on the phone. The FD will be automatically applied to your ressie. I'd book now and know that I have the package I want. All they require at time of booking is $200.00 deposit. The rest is due 45 days prior to arrival. Hope this helped

I realized you can do it all online through the special offers links, and the price by adding the DDP is correct (did some number crunching to see what it should be and it came out exactly the same!) I'd rather not call and save the long distance charges...

Okay I will try to book asap, not today... my CC bill for this month is high, and while I can totally afford the 200$ now, I'd rather I'd put it on next months bill LOL!!! Haha... While I like working in a school for the summer's off, it gives me too much time to spend money! Hehehe!

ETA: Is the 200$ refundable or not? (I presume within 45 days of your reservation?)
