When fall promos do come out (if ever!!)

Say free dining comes out in the next few days. I have already booked (going regardless of discounts), and I asked a question weeks ago asking if I could apply the free dining if/when it comes out. I was told yes. Now my question is, if later on down the line they come out with a package discount or GC offer (which is better for me because its just me and DD2 and I have to pay OOP for her meals either way) can I switch the free dining out for the discount? TIA guys!

As deals come out, you can keep changing your discounts as long as there is availability for your chosen discount at your chosen resort. You could conceivably keep changing until you go, but keep in mind that once you get to the penalty timeframe, you would have to pay a change fee if your package price comes down.

Figure out just how many meals you'll want to order for her. You do have the option of listing her as 3 in order to get her the dining plan, but that does mean buying her a park pass. If you'll be dining at mainly buffet/all you can eat/pre-priced locations then this isn't a sensible way to go but if you'll be dining at mostly places where they serve you a meal and you'll want to order her a kids meal then it's probably cheaper to buy the ticket and upgrade her under free dining.
