When does your tree come down?

Epiphany, always! There´s a strong tradition of celebrating 13 days of Christmas (not 12 as in the US) here in Iceland.

Mine all came down today as well. I am glad to have the living room back to it's regular look :)

Today! Massive cleaning going on around here today. Tomorrow I'll be thrilled but today not so much. I hate cleaning! ;)

Today- as much as I would love to keep it up until the 6th, my work schedule just makes it difficult. I try to get everything put up before I go back to work after New Years.

Bless my dh, he took both trees down yesterday while I was at work. Routine resumes on Monday so I appreciate that that is done! The nativity scene stays up through Epiphany tho!:goodvibes

I started putting just a few things away every day starting a couple of days after Christmas and just finished up with the tree earlier today. All that's left now is the wreath on the front door.

Next weekend. I'll start putting some Christmas away tomorrow though. I put up 2 trees so have to gear up for taking them down.

Today and it did. I have an aversion to clutter. ;) As pretty as it was, it will be pretty again....next year.

Christmas day I take down 2 of the 3 trees. Seems like that stuff comes down a lot faster than it goes up. I still have a little tree sitting over at the other end of the living room, it was originally my bedroom tree, but after I took down the big one, I brought the little one to the living room...still clinging to the season. I also put the villages and stuff away already.

The tree and remaining indoor decor came down today. I wanted to do outside too but it's poured down rain all day.

I started undecorating 3 days ago. Took me 45 minutes to do the kitchen and bannister, another 1 and 20 minutes to take down the mini tree and outdoor scene I set up on the entertainment center, 30 minutes to dismantle the mantel another 20 to put other stuff on it, another 30 minutes for the other misc stuff. Wreaths, pillows, throws, christmas card wreath. I forgot to add the tree was an hour to dismantle.

The nativity scene is still up and when I take that down it'll only be 20 minutes. Add in another 30 - 45 minutes of outdoor decor cleanup and then it'll be done.

Usually my husband does outdoor decorating but he didn't get time so I did it. I'm loving the open space feel we now have. It's nice to get rid of the clutter.

Christmas time is the only time we even use our living room. No hurry, because it will sit mostly unused for another 11 months.
We live in the family room, funny that we don't live in the "living" room.

It's that way at my parents house too, living room sits empty most of the year.
