When does your school let out?

We had 1 ice day here in South Texas and we made that up on President's Day. So our last day is staying June 5th at 2:45. We leave for Disney World June 5th 3:45 :)

As of now, June 26th! But of course, winter's not over yet! We've had 4 days so far and they've been tacked on to the end of the school year. We go back the Wed or Thurs after Labor Day. Then 1.5-2 weeks at Christmas (depending on how it falls), 1 week in February, 1 week in April. Usually out the 3rd week of June, but seems to be getting later and later.

From Massachusetts. We got back the week before Labor Day (but surrounding towns wait until after Labor Day). Our snow days get tacked on to the end of the schedule. As of now, we are getting out June 19th as a half day. We are flying out June 20th so I hope we don't get any more snow days. ;)

We have built in snow days. They added 30 minutes to each school day quite a few years back. However, we only have 1 snow day left!! We get out May 23 and we start early August. We are headed down June 1!!

We are out June 6th and go back August 18th (I believe... or whatever that monday is).

We will be at the water parks as much as possible from June 7th on!

Our last day is June 5 but we are pulling the kids out on the 4th.

Long Island here. Our scheduled last day is June 27th with no days tacked onto the end. It seems compared to some, we are one of the latest to end the school year. Out of curiosity, when do you go back to school in September?

In Texas we typically start the last week of August. (We get one week off at Thanksgiving, two weeks off at Christmas and one week for Spring Break in March.)

Our last day this year is June 5th.

We had two ice days here in the Houston area and had to make the first one up this past Monday on President's day and 2nd one is scheduled to be made up on Memorial Day. I'm annoyed about that one as Memorial day is the only day I get a holiday from Jan 1st to July 4th.

We only had one ice day here in San Antonio and it was made up on President's day. If for some reason we have another one, they would probably add to the end of the year here before taking away Memorial Day. Or they might take away Battle of the Flowers parade day. (Always thought it was odd we get that off but many businesses and all schools close for it.)

We were supposed to be out June 11 but now have to add on numerous days and are now up to June 24. Hopefully that will be it but who knows with this endless cold and snow!!

This is exactly our schedule. I wonder if you are near me... :crowded:

June 27th here in NYC and since we only used 1 snow day there are no days to make up. Last year we did have to give up president's week due to hurricane Sandy.

NYC public schools get out on June 26. It's a half day. My school dismisses at 11:45.
I'm going try not to knock any of my students over as race out of the building. As soon as I turn in my keys and folders, I'm going straight to JFK.

I'm in Michigan. June 12th is supposed to be the last day. However they have canceled school seven days and after six you are supposed to make them up. I had heard that the state may allow schools to make up time by adding minutes to the days but then heard they were not going to allow it. Our district hasn't yet said anything about what they are going to do.

We're driving and leaving on the 19th. Unless we somehow end up with a few more snow days we should be ok. We could leave on the 20th, that's when we were going to leave but now dh wants to stop in Chattanooga to tour a VW factory. *yawn*

I'm there with you!

I am in Maine. We were scheduled for June 13th (a Friday). We have had 2 snow days so far so now we are up to June 17th.

We get out on June 13th. We've had 11 snow days (and more 2 hour delays than I care to count) so far this year with a potential for at least one more storm. Our county has a fixed calendar with 15 extra days built in - no make up days for us!

We are out May 22/23 something like that. Many southern schools get out before June because we start back in early August. It won't be the height of summer crazy, but it will be as busy. Star Wars weekends, Gay Days both bring big crowds. While you can predict where folks will be to a certain extent, it is busy all over. We will be there for the 2nd SWW and officially checking in to BCV 5/26 for our regular vacation staying through to 6/6.

Ours is the first Friday in June. We have gone over by 3 days but our kids went to school Monday and have done 2 blizzard bags that count as 2 makeup days. So no breaks taken away or no extended days at end of year.

In our part of Dallas our last day is supposed to be June 5th, but our second make-up day is June 6th, so we'll see. Either way we're on plane June 9th!!!

My kids go to a private school in Memphis, TN. We've only had one snow day unlike the big districts and counties close by who called a lot more. We have nothing to make-up. Last day for my son is 8th grade graduation on 5/21 and my 7th grade daughter has exams until 10:30am on 5/22 and is then done.

We fly to MCO on 5/23 for our 7 night Fantasy cruise!

My kids start back on 8/11 (son) and 8/13 (daughter).

We were suppose to be out the 22nd of May, but now we aren't getting out till the 27th of May. We go back August 20
