when does your school get out?

Trying to plan...just wondering when your school gets out for the year this year?

I don't know the exact date and I'm too lazy to get off the couch, but it will be the Friday before Memorial Day.

I believe it is June 14th this year, a little earlier if we don't have any snow days and the public school is usually at least a week later than us. Good luck!

Just looked at the calendar...it's listed as June 27th! So far we haven't had any snow days but with Labor Day so late this year they didn't start till September 7th so I guess that's why. Yikes.

June 28th. Hope we don't get too many snow days because I don't know how we'll get all our days in before July 1st if we do.

I'm assuming many get out around the 14th of June, since that's when the "special offer" ends for room discount.

I am working on DH to see if he can get off work prior to that date...we'll see you there


BTW, we get out 5/25 assuming no snow days

DD14 is in High School and she gets out June 27th

DS9 is in elementary school and he gets out June 28th.

*each child has 3 "snow" days built into their school calendar so if they don't use any snow days they get out 3 days earlier or however many snow days they have left toward the end of the year thats how many days earlier they will get out.

so calif. my work school district changed the district schedule so my last day will Be May 27th. vs June 17th in the past

My child goes to school in another district her last day will be June 2nd due to the furlough days

Last year was the latest ever, as the kids got out June 3rd. This was due to snow days.

our schools will let out in mid June, but we will not 'know' the exact date until probably the end of March... We have used snow days even as late as March, so it is a roll of the dice on the last day. And since I have one in HS, it is really a pain as they take finals on even the LAST day of school... Why in the world couldn't they do finals a few days earlier? They make them turn in textbooks almost 2 weeks prior to finals... Doesn't make sense to me?!

We usually go until the last friday in June and start the first Wedenesday after Labor Day....I couldn't imagine going back in August! I guess it is just what you are used to....
