when does Winter/Spring Break fall for you in Feb, Mar, or Apr 2004?

hi everyone. i browsed through a few pages of search results but didn't find this info. so hopefully this thread/poll is not redundant info, and will be helpful to everyone.

anyway, i wanted to take a poll to see when the school vacations / spring breaks will be happening during 2004.
(i'm starting the process of planning a trip for some time between Jan and May '04)

please cast a vote for when your or your kids' school vacation or spring break dates fall in 2004.

multiple choices are allowed, for those of you that have two or more separate weeks of school vacation.

We will be there during spring break Mar 15 - 19 from Texas. All of TX either has spring break that week or the week before. We were there last year at that time and felt the crowds to be manageable.

I voted for APril 5-9, but in reality in WNY most schools have their last BIG Easter break from April 5-16. In 2005 we willbe going to that awful split break with a break in February around President's day and a week at Easter. After this year, we won't be able to travel because there won't be time!

I'm from WNY too (Silver Creek)--- we already started the split breaks this past year. We will be off President's week and one week at Easter in 2004. Like the above poster said all our schools in this area will be on this schedule within the next 2 years.

Patsal-- it wasn't so bad-- we actually took 2 trips. One in February and the other in April.

We're from Louisiana. I have 2 things to say: MARDI GRAS! We tried to go during Mardi Gras but so did everyone else from Louisiana. It was packed! Mardi Gras is, of course, 40 days before Easter. Whenever that falls next year. Schools are closed Mardi Gras week. (Some the whole week, some just MT) Then schools are closed 6 days for Easter. we'll never go during Mardi Gras again. well, never say never.

NYC public schools are out Feb16 - 20 for midwinter recess, and April 5 - 13 for Easter and Passover.

Our school system has 2 breaks in the second term: one the 2nd to last week of February, the other the last week of April.

Our school system is off 4/19-4/23 , and I'll be with my DD and favorite sister (her first time to WDW at the age of 42 ) at WDW!!!!

Here in Concord, NH we have a break Feb 23-27. We'll of course be heading down, and then our spring break is April 26-30. Hmmmm.....wonder if......

Not all of Texas! Way down here in the Rio Grande Valley (although some might argue this isn't Texas-it's North Mexico), the schools have Spring break March 22-26. That's because of our proximity to South Padre Island. Public schools want to avoid the College Break out there.

One week in Feb over President's birthday, and another in April with Patriots day. They say it helps break up the winter--this year with all the snow that certainly was true. (If you could get out of New England with the blizzard and all!)

ours is March 15th-19th

we went Spring Break 2002...never again...SOO many people, the crowds were bad(but I think it was b/c Easter was 2 weeks later and people had Spring Break earlier than usual)

but this Spring Break we are going to HHI! yay!

btw, i was wondering why Presidents Week (Feb 16 to Feb 20) didn't get more votes? since many of you mentioned that you have vacation then.

i thought that traditionally Presidents Week is really crowded at WDW?

do more people have March and April Spring Breaks w/ no vacation during Presidents Week?

Ours will either start March 8th or 15th. I know that sums up a good portion of Ontario, Canada.
