Uh no. WPASADI lasts for a while. There are different challenges that the teams have to do. I believe I heard there are 12 different challenges (Don't quote me on it) Give the team some time to work on these challenges (a week or 2 possibly) and WPASADI is going to take some time.

From what I understand you had to apply to play because they had to select a certain number of players. Imagine how clogged up the boards would get if everyone could play.

It looks like the teams will move their conversations to instant messages (I hope so) once they check in with each other, so maybe all the threads will die down except for the CB.

The game is schedule to go through about Feb. It is here for a reason. The audience sign ups are ALWAYS availalbe and everyone is encouraged to get involved in it. There will be prizes for the audience also. The player sign ups were heavily advertised and everyone had the opportunity to apply.

WPASADI is supposed to get it's own board. The Webmasters are working on it and it should be ready in a few days. BUT, there will still be threads here. It is intended to be a way to get ALL DISers involved, even though only 200 and some can play. That is the intention of the game.

If you don't enjoy it, then feel free to scroll past all of the threads.

Those of us who were chosen to play did not expect it. For most I am sure this was not high on the radar yesterday morning, but we would love to have you cheer us on.

I can gaurantee that we will cheer on every audience participant that wins something.

Yeah, once the first challenge team leaders are picked, they are going to set us up with our own forums so the posting will be minimal. I do think, however, that when the judges put out the challenges, as well as any voting the DIS members have to do they will be here.

I guess "snarky" is in the eye of the beholder.

Why are you some of you so defensive because someone or some people, asked why a game isn't on the Game Board? It seems like a logical question to me, being that every other time a game gets started on the CB it gets moved to the Game Board. Those of you playing the game may have understood the need for it to be on the CB, but others of us not playing the game didn't. Some were kind enough to explain, some were just plain defensive and "snarky" youselves.

I think it's great that so many are having a good time with this. I just don't have the patience, the imagination or the time to even think about doing it!

But I don't understand why people just can't get past the threads? I think legimate questions are OK, but why not simply PM a moderator?
