When does Small World reopen after Halloween?

We took our first trip to Disneyland last October and my daughter was crushed that Small World was closed! We are looking into planning another trip this fall and was wondering if Disney usually follows the same date schedule every year to decorate Small World for Christmas. When does it close in October and reopen in November? Thanks!

It will likely be closed mid-October and reopen Veterans Day weekend.

For the last several years, IaSW has closed for about 18-days to have the overlay installed. It usually closes in mid-October and opens around the start of the Holiday season. It can re-open anywhere from a week or so before the start of the Holiday season. To be safe, if you go after the official start of the Holiday Season (lately, that's been the Avenger's Marathon weekend), it should have re-opened with the holiday overlay.
