When Does SM and HM Close for Holiday Overlay?

We are planning a late August trip when we take our daughter to college in L.A.

I can't find when Space Mountain and The Haunted Mansion close to change them over to the Halloween versions. Does anyone know??

Also, does anyone know why all ears doesn't give much homage to Disneyland? Their rehabs/closures list goes through August of LAST YEAR. Nothing updated since then! It is a wealth of info for Disney World, but not Disneyland. :-(

Space will close after Labor Day.
HM will close the last Monday in August typically.

The start of the overlay installation depends on when HalloweenTime starts. Assuming this year is like the last few years, HalloweenTime will start on September 12 (Friday). Based on that, HM will close of August 25th and Space will close on September 8. If the start of HalloweenTime changes, then the dates of the closure will likely also change. I think it's because Allears.net is primarily a WDW reference site. It's never been a strong DLR reference site. Also, WDW releases their operating calendar abut 6.5 months in advance, but DLR doesn't release it until about 60-days in advance (with entertainment and other details not released until about 45-days in advance). So even if Allears.net were more up to date, they'd still only have info through July at best. You can look at wdwinfo's DLR pages to get some estimates on park hours, but note that the rehabs, etc. all are preliminary and based on last year (so don't take them as being for sure).
