When does it sink in for you?

Usually, it sinks in for me when I hit the 30+ days mark, but for some reason, today, at 44 days out, it really sunk in.

What about you?

Well we went last June and even though I did all kinds of planning, got planes tickets, etc. It doesn't usually hit me till I'm checking into the hotel and get to our room. That's when it feels real.

For me, it sunk in when we went to EPCOT the first afternoon. We had already gone to MK and AK, but we're DL veterans, so MK was familiar. AK was brand new and cool, but I really realized I was at WDW when I saw Spaceship Earth as that symbolizes WDW to me.

My DBF booked this trip for me for my 30th birthday and it sunk in the day he told me "guess whos going to Disney?"~~~~ I CANT WAIT! I am living thru everyone's trip boards on here to enjoy everyone's experience!!

It sinks in for me when I'm walking into the lobby of wherever I'm staying.

There's always this excitment in anticipating as the weeks/days go by.
By it really hits me driving up and seeing the signs welcoming me back!!

For me it "sinks" in when I step off the plane at the MCO...I say to myself, "Here I am...Finally"

For me it really sinks in as we walk out of the airport in Orlando and the hot humid air almost knocks me over

It really sinks in for me the day before we leave...when I am all finished work, and all I have to do is worry about "Disney vacation" stuff - what to pack, where my boarding pass is, and when to set my alarm to get up for the flight! This is usually the point when my DH starts talking about Disney stuff (whereas I have been on these boards talking about getting ready for about a year prior! )

Can't wait!!!

When I walk up to my first park of the trip.

It sinks in when I call Disney an hear that voice say "Thank you for calling Walt Disney World, you called at the perfcet time". I have Disney Reservations and Disney Dining on my speed dial! I booked this trip almost a year in advance and have been obsessing ever since!!!! We gave our neices 10 days in Disney for Christmas, they are hooked and haven't even been yet. POFQ here we come!
