When does Happiest Celebration end???

I'm curious too. I keep hearing that it ends 9/30, but I know when it started last May it was supposed to be an 18 month celebration so that would make it the the begining of November.

Thanks for confirming the 18mos that I thought also. I was just worried that it would end after 12 mos (highly unlikely the way Disney works ), because we're going in June - 16 of us! We NEED the Happiest Celebration to still be happening.

According to a travel book that we purchased it ends in November. This will also mark the end of the free Magical Express rides to / from the airport.

I have always heard October 1st. It may start winding down around then and they may wait to pull everything down until it is time to put up Christmas decorations.

The celebration ends September 30. This was changed from the original, which was the amorphous "18 months" (which would have had the celebration ending in early November).

I believe we've already received confirmation from Disney that Magical Express will continue free through at least the end of this year. It will not end with the end of the celebration.

Thats odd. When I made our reservations for our trip spring 2007 the CM told me to let them know when our flight was so they could set up our Magical Express. this is a whole year away.

I think you will find that DME will continue indefinetly...we do know that it will remain complimentary through '06. After that, we don't know whether it will remain free or if they will start charging, but it will continue.

That's what I've heard as well. Magical Express will continue for free through at least the end of the year, and will almost surely continue beyond that, though it isn't clear if there will be a fee or not, yet.

I'm glad DME will still be continued, since that means I can still use it in Dec for free, after that I may still use it depending on the cost.

Not trying to start controversy here (BUT) isnt it Disney Worlds 35th(?) birthday this year too? If so when does that start?

WDW's 35th would start October 1 (the day after September 30, which is one reason why folks believe the end date of the current celebration was changed).

Hi Kim - I'm so glad you posted this question!!

I had no idea that we would experience The Happiest Celebration for a 2nd time when we go in Sept. - I figurered it would be over. The castle was beautiful, and I'm glad we will be able to see it again.

My TA contacted my Disney rep asked the same question. There is NO end date as of right now .SO we are all good!!!
