When Does Disney Send you the Blue DVC Member Card?

Hi.

We just recently joined DVC and have a paper DVC membership card. I noticed the member guide book shows a dark blue DVC card with your name on it, use year, and date you joined. Anybody know how long it takes to get that permanent card?

Ours came about 8 weeks after the closing.

About six weeks. I showed my paper one to a server at Olivia's (it's all about that 10% discount, y'know), and she really struggled to figure out what I was giving her (she said she'd never seen one.) I did ultimately get the discount, tho.
