When does dining plan begin??

My husband and I are on the dining plan in September. We are planning on attending the Halloween party the day of arrival. We don't want to waste time during the party eating. We are wondering when do the dining credits become available to use.?? Check in is at 3pm but we want to eat a ts before then, is this doable?

You can check in anytime after about 7 AM or you can do online check in. You have access to your dining credits as soon as you check in. Doesn't matter if the room is ready or not, and you don't have to wait until 3 pm. 3 pm is just a guideline regarding when to expect room readiness.
