When does AKV sell to public?

We have friends who have not yet joined DVC and plan to. I have no idea which resort they are interested in buying but I do want to be able to tell them when AKV will be selling to the general public. Is it March 5 - same day as price increase?

Also, a question for us, if they offer the same $8 discount, will you still have to buy a minimum of 100 points?

I was told by my guide that AKL will go onsale to the public Monday 3/5. He could not discuss pricing until time~

If a non-member were to buy into DVC today, what Use-Year month would the contract be for? Do you get to choose it? Would a AKV purchase be different from a SSR purchase in this regard?

Does this mean that members can still get Sept 07 pts. in June? and does the price stay at $101 or go up to $104 per pt.

i got june 4th as a date yesterday when speaking to my guide. the 6/4/07 date was for the $93/point deal. i am assuming this is the extended member buy in date. also, said may 16th(?), you could start making reservations for dates after sept 1(?)...sorry, my notes are at the office. trying to go off of memory has failed me miserably in the past!
