I put in a Christmas CD today and it really felt good!
I need to do some shopping so I dont hypervenilate next time, but other than that it was all good! :thumbsup2

Not until December and not until it snows. If it still hasn't snowed by Christmas eve I play some TSO on the way to grandma's anyway.

Usually right around Thanksgiving. I did however buy a Chritmas cd at Taret not too long ago and am dying to listen to it (It'd the Disney Christmas cd)

A few days before Halloween. All my friends kept telling me to wait until "turkey day"....little did they know, I was busy cooking a turkey making it turkey day!!! I love Christmas music (so odd since I dislike Christmas as a whole)

I enjoy Christmas music when it's around me, but I don't go out of my way to play it (though I do own several cds of Christmas songs).:confused3

I generally have a ban on Christmas music until Black Friday (aka the day after Thanksgiving), although this year I may relent. DW loves Christmas and the music, and DD has been running around the house singing three or four lines from Jack's Lament (from Nightmare Before CHristmas), and, after a few weeks, it's finally gone from cute to borderline annoying.

I second this. The first time I play Christmas music is in the car at 5am on the way to Black Friday shopping.

The next time is usully when we put up the tree about 2 weeks before Christmas.

I typically start Christmas music on Thanksgiving Day, and try really hard not to play it before.

I play Christmas music year round. If I am in the mood, I put it on. I love Christmas music.

I'm not one for the holidays
partially because I really really can't stand Christmas music.

If I hear it before Thanksgiving, I really just might have to freak out!

When I worked at Starbucks while I was in college, we got sent the Christmas music way early, but the letter with it stated we should start playing it after Thanksgiving. But, OF COURSE, everyone wanted to listen to it right away. One year, I wrapped it up in paper bags and taped it to the bottom of the chairs in the cafe until after Thanksgiving. I won't be a grinch during the holidays, but try pushing them on me before 'Tis the Season' time, they best watch it!

As a musician, this year the holiday party gigs start on December 1st.

Personally, I don't listen to Christmas music until about a week before Christmas. Even then, these days I've had my fill by then and find myself enjoying them less every year (kinda like too much of a good thing...).

OK, I will be honest. Although I wait until a little bit after Thanksgiving to do my Christmas decorations, I listen to Christmas music after Halloween. It's just that there are certain Christmas songs I like and the ones that I don't I usually have to listen around Christmas when I am with family

When the kids were little we started Thanksgiving weekend.

Now, I might put on some music when I'm baking Christmas cookies which is usually a couple of weeks before Christmas.

I wait until the day after Thanksgiving.

Even waiting that long I'm ready to put them away on January 1. If I started playing them sooner, I'd be tired of them by Christmas Day and that wouldn't be good. So I wait.
