when do you recive your ID?

Do you receive your i'd on check in day? Does that i'd let you into the parks? And if so, is there a limit on how many times you can go to parks? Asking cause my son checks in tomorrow and i'm here for a few days. I would love him to see one man's dream for more info on walt and wdw. Tia!

...He wont get it at check in that is for sure... if his Traditions is on Day 2 which im pretty sure everyones is either day two morning or afternoon... that is where he will get his name tag and his cast ID...

But he wont get his Blue pass to let other people in for a few weeks after that... and if he wants the Blue Pass to come to his apartment he needs to change his Perm address from his home to his apartment... or atleast make a temporary address on the Hub that is his apartment... or else they will send his Bluepass to your house or wherever it is that he lives haha...

Thank you! So his cast ID will get him into parks for himself, blue pass is for others. We don't need blue pass, I have an annual pass. I'm glad to hear traditions is on day two, Thx again.

well i mean mine was day two it could always change... but it will be in the first day or so after checkin

I checked in on the 2nd and had traditions on the 4th in 09.

As for the blue pass for friends/family...even though you said you didn't really need it since you had an AP, I DID change my temporary address to the apartments since my trainer mentioned we may get other mail from the program that would be better to get quickly (instead of relying on our parents to mail it back to us) and my main gate still went home.

Most CPs will have Traditions on Day 3 (not 2).

The CP website now states that Traditions will either be held on day 3 or 4.

i think it just depends on the person and when they schedule you... or maybe i just had a unique arrival date or something

I was Spring 2010 and had traditions on day 3. Also big suggestion: DO NOT FORGET YOUR STATE ISSUED ID!! You won't be able to get your ID if you don't have it and then you will have to go back to Disney U to get it which is a total pain.

I had my Traditions on Day 3 (back in 2005). And all of my roomates from my programs had it on Day 3

Do i have the correct understanding?? The id we receive at traditions gets us into the park unlimited during our program, but we will be receiving a pass in the mail weeks later for family and friends...? Thanks in advance for straightening me out.
