When Do You Predict GF DVC Will Open For Sales?

Actually it started at $112 and just went up to $140 this past June - But that still comes out to about $10 per year.

you are both forgetting - when the price went DOWN - to encourage sales

brought at $96 a point.

We just got off the Wonder this week, and the "onboard" incentive for add-ons was this:

$99 pp for the "Treehouse Villas" (they don't market it as SSR, guess trying to make it more "exclusive"?)

Depending on the amount of points added, AKL was $100-104 pp with a $500 on board credit for those adding on.

I guess they are really pushing to get all those units sold so they can move onto GFV?

Side note, we were married at GF and have a huge love for it, for all apparent reasons, but there is no way we could "add-on" for $200 pp, no matter how small an amount we bought. Maybe because we paid only $76 pp for Wilderness Lodge, but still, $200+ per point??

Was it Hawaii that had a more strict law about no sales until the calendar year occupancy was expected? (Kidani was selling the calendar year before occupancy, but Aulani had to wait until 2011?)

I don't know all the ins and outs, but basically yes. Hawaii timeshare rules are far stricter than FL and from my understanding this is part of the reason Aulani sales have been halted as well.

definitely understand - but there is no reason to kept putting the price of BLT up - unless it is so people will not be surprised at the price of GF.

Simple explanation of the price increases is supply and demand. BLT is selling very quickly considering the economy and number of points/rooms at the resort. If your demand is that high, you can easily increase you price. I do not think that BLT prices have anything to do with future prices. Will they be affected, sure....but if BLT demand fell off, your prices would not continue to go up.
